Summer Glau

 Glau's debut television role was as a guest ballerina in the 2002 episode on the television series Angel. She was noticed by director JossWhedon who then cast her as River Tam in the critically-acclaimed TV series Firefly. The role she played for the feature film sequel of Serenity. Glau previously auditioned for the part of a Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssaenrile) in Power Rangers Wild Force but lost to the actress Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon.Glau appeared in the episode "Love Conquer Al" from the TV series Cold Case. She was the role of Shelly her high school senior in Sleepover. She also appeared in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" " Season two of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girl played by Jeremy Erhart). In 2006, Glau played Tess Doerner, a paranoid schizophrenic returnee in season two's premiere of The 4400, and became a recurring character in season three and beyond. Mammoth was also her horror comedy character. Glau was part of the ABC Family TV movie The Initiation of Sarah.In Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, a show that premiered on January 13, 2008. Glau was the character Cameron Phillips, a Terminator infiltration unit who is sent back to defend John Connor and Sarah Connor from Skynet. The 7th episode of the series, "The Demon Hand", featured several scenes in which Glau playing the character of Cameron was seen dancing in ballet. In the second season's episode "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young who was Cameron's human doppelganger. Glau also starred as herself on a CBS episode in 2009 of the Big Bang Theory's comedy.
